User Management
A better user management experience User management is moving from CRM Settings to the new Manage app, with improved visibility of users and their status, and improvements to how key actions are performed. For customers with both products, you can now manage CRM and Work Architecture users in one place.
What’s new
Administrators invite, edit, disable and delete users in the Manage app at manage.beamery.com/users. In Beamery CRM, Settings > Users now links to it.
Pending invitations now appear in the main user list with the status Invited and a tag showing when each one was sent. To resend or revoke an invitation, use the three-dot menu on its row.
You can search users by email, filter by role or by status (Active, Disabled, Invited, Invite expired), and sort by name, email or created date.
A seat count shows how many of your company’s seats are in use. Invited users don’t count toward it.
A user can have a contact email that’s different from their sign-in email, so Beamery can send their mail to another address.
Why it matters Work Architecture customers no longer need CRM access to manage their users, and admins who use both products manage everyone from one list. It’s quicker to find a user and to see where each invitation stands.
Good to know
Roles and permissions haven’t changed. Super Admins, Marketing Admins and Sourcing Admins still manage users, and only Super Admins can manage other Super Admins.
Some labels have changed: Add User is now Create user, Position is now Role, and Deactivate is now Disable. You can re-enable a disabled user at any time with Enable.
Customers who only use Work Architecture can go straight to manage.beamery.com/users and bookmark it.
SMS opt-outs no longer unsubscribe candidates from email When a candidate replies STOP to a text, they’re now opted out of SMS only. You can still reach them by email.
What’s new
When a candidate replies STOP to your company campaign number, they’re unsubscribed from SMS campaigns only. They stay subscribed to email campaigns, and you can still reach them by email campaigns, 1:1 emails and SMS from individual numbers.
When a candidate replies STOP to an individual user’s number, they stop getting SMS from that number only. They still receive SMS campaigns from the company number, and they stay subscribed to email campaigns.
Why it matters A candidate who doesn’t want texts no longer drops out of your email campaigns. You can add SMS to your outreach without losing email contact with the people who opt out of it.
Good to know
Check that your consent statements match how you contact candidates by SMS. If you’re unsure, speak to your legal team.
Availability All customers with SMS enabled. No setup required. If you’d like SMS turned on, speak to your CSM.
Taxonomy Refresh: Roles (into the CRM) Following the Skills release, this release brings our revised Roles taxonomy into the CRM. Together, the two updates give Beamery a more complete and up-to-date picture of the work your organization hires for. The biggest improvement is to vacancy calibration. When you calibrate a vacancy, you’ll now find roles that match it much more closely, so the role you pick reflects what the job actually involves. Talent Match also gets better role information for both candidates and vacancies, which makes its search results and recommendations more accurate.
Significant changes include:
6,925 new roles
5,125 role updates
463 roles merged
1 role removed
Reach out to your CSM if you would like the full changelog or if there are roles still missing.
