Coming up this month

Overview of Resolved Issues & Minor Updates

The below table will be updated at the end of April, with a view of all changes that went live in the month to maintain the stability of the platform and improve the user experience.

Resume Parsing

Minor Update

Resume Parsing No Longer Overwrites Location Data on the Contact Profile

Previously, resume parsing would overwrite the existing location data on a contact profile, with less precise and less reliable location data.

With this update, existing locations are preserved. If a contact has no existing locations, the resume-parsed location data will still be added to the contact profile.

Workday

Minor Update

Moving Applications No Longer Duplicates an Application on the Contact Profile

We now collect the Application ID from Workday and, when an application is moved in Workday to another Vacancy, Beamery no longer creates a duplicate copy of that application.

Workday

Minor Update

"View in Workday" Button Now Takes Users to the Correct Workday Profile

Beamery has changed how we map the "View in Workday" button on a contact profile to the Workday profile. Now, when a user clicks the View in Workday button it will take them either to the contact's Workday profile (if they are logged in) or to the login screen and then to the contact's Workday profile (if they are not already logged in).

Talent Experience

Convert Flows and Pages

Minor Update

Managed Challenges Now Enabled on Vanity Domains

We've turned on Cloudflare's Managed Challenges for vanity domains to cut down on traffic from automated systems like security scanners. This should also reduce bot and spam submissions hitting your convert flows.

When someone visits a page or flow on a vanity domain, they'll see a short verification popup before the content loads. This is quick and shouldn't disrupt the experience for real users.

There are a couple of things to be aware of:

Automated systems won't be able to access anything hosted on a vanity domain. If you have uptime checks configured against vanity domains, those checks will likely start failing.

If you run into any issues, please contact product support.

Talent Acquisition

Vacancy Calibration

Minor Update

Auto-Calibration Now Updates When Job Descriptions Change

Vacancy calibration using job descriptions will now automatically re-run when a vacancy's job description is updated in your ATS or manually in Beamery. Previously, calibration only ran when a vacancy was first created — if the job description was updated afterwards, the calibration would not reflect those changes.

Now, when an updated job description syncs from your ATS, Beamery will automatically re-calibrate the vacancy with the revised roles and skills. This ensures your Suggested Contacts stay aligned with the latest version of your requirements.

Important: if you've already manually edited a vacancy's calibration, it will not be overwritten by an automatic re-calibration. Your manual adjustments are always preserved.

Login Screen

SSO

Minor Update

New links are available for SSO pages.

We've removed the need for an extra click during SSO login by creating new unique links for each customers' SSO page. To obtain your organization's direct SSO link, please contact Product Support.
