How to View a Contact in Workday

When viewing a contact in Beamery there is an easy way to quickly view their profile in Workday with the “View in Workday” button.

This button navigates you to the contact’s Workday profile if you are currently logged into Workday or to the Workday login page where you will be routed to the Workday profile upon successful login.

Enabling this button requires a customer to give Beamery a direct Workday URL for an example candidate from your Workday tenant. This allows Beamery to extract the correct uiUrl format and map it accurately when linking contacts. This link will be requested by a member of Product Support or you can reach out to your CSM. 

Once Beamery receives the example URL, the feature will be enabled for your tenant. During enablement, Beamery will run a historical sync to ensure all existing contacts already pulled into Beamery have an updated and working "View in Workday" link. 

You will receive direct communication from Beamery when any action or information is required from your side (such as providing the example Workday URL).

Important

  • This update requires Workday push (BM → WD) to be enabled on your tenant.
  • The button works for both logged-in and logged-out Workday sessions. Users who are logged-out will be redirected to the correct page after login.
  • A historical sync is included as part of enablement to ensure existing contacts are also updated.
