How to retrieve Workday Audit Logs

When troubleshooting our Workday integration you might be asked to provide Workday Audit logs for Beamery Support to be able to troubleshoot an issue. Here are the steps you can take to capture these logs.

How to retrieve Candidate Audit Logs

To retrieve candidate audit logs you will need to have access to your Workday instance and be logged in.

1. Navigate to the candidate in question.

2. Click on Actions under the candidate's name.

3. Click on Audits.

4. Click on View Audit Trail.

5. A pop will show for you to select a date range. Make sure to include the dates when the issue that is being investigated occurred. Ideally from when the contact was created. Click Ok when done.

6. The Audit Trail will show on the next screen.

7. To share the trail with our team click on Export to Excel.

8. The file will download and will be ready to share with Beamery Support.

 


How to retrieve Vacancy/Requisition Audit Logs

To retrieve requisition audit logs you will need to have access to your Workday instance and be logged in.

1. Navigate to the requisition in question.

2. Click on the three dots next to the requisition name.

3. Click on Audits.

4. Click on View Audit Trail.

5. A pop will show for you to select a date range. Make sure to include the dates when the issue that is being investigated occurred. Ideally from when the requisition was created. Click Ok when done.

6. The Audit Trail will show on the next screen

7. To share the trail with our team click on Export to Excel.

8. The file will download and will be ready to share with Beamery Support.
