Suggested Contacts: New filters including years of experience and the ability to say "must not"

Suggested Contacts just got a lot more precise. We've grown the filter panel from 4 filters to 15, and added the operators recruiters have been asking for: IS NOT, OR and AND.

Since June, Suggested Contacts has had must-have Role, Skill, and Company filters. This release widens what "must-have" can mean, and lets you express it far more precisely.

What's new

11 new filters. On top of Job role, Company, Skill and Location, you can now filter on: 

• Years of experience

• Experience keywords

• Degree

• Certification

• Language

• Status

• Last activity

• Open vacancy stage

• Pool

• Global tag

• Contact type

New operators. Every chip-based filter now supports:

• IS / IS NOT – include or exclude. Screen out candidates already at interview stage, or in a pool you don't want to re-approach.

• OR / AND – match any of your values, or require all of them. "Speaks German OR French" versus "has Python AND React".

Exclude what you don't want. Open vacancy stage lets you remove candidates who are already at a given stage or beyond in any open vacancy, so you stop surfacing people who are already in play.

Declared skills only. The Skill filter now has an option to exclude Beamery-suggested (inferred) skills and match only skills the candidate has declared, for when a skill is a firm requirement.

Why it matters

Similarity scoring tells you who's close to your role. Filters enforce what's non-negotiable. With 15 filters and full boolean control, recruiters can define exactly who qualifies, then let Talent Match rank the fit, all across the full talent database rather than a pre-retrieved subset.

More relevant results. A shortlist you can trust. Less time discarding candidates who were never a real match.

Good to know

• The previous experience remains available via the in-page toggle. Nothing is removed.

• Filters suggestions are from the vacancy's calibration.

• Can’t find the filter you’re looking for - click ‘View in people’ to apply even more filters.

Minor Update

Primary Email filter now supports domain search

You can now filter contacts by email domain using the Primary Email filter. This new capability is available across the People Grid and in Recipes/Automations.

What's new:

• A new "domain" search option has been added to the Primary Email filter
• Enter a domain (e.g. example.com ) to find all contacts whose primary email ends with that domain

How it works:

• Enter the full domain (e.g. company.com ) to match all contacts with a primary email address at that domain
• This can be used in Recipes and Automations to build domain-based workflows, such as identifying or removing contacts from specific email domains
  Note: This filter matches on the email domain only (not including @) — it is not a general "contains" search on the full email address.
