When collaborating as a team within Beamery, we recommend creating notes and tagging colleagues to help you and your colleagues make smarter, more informed hiring decisions.
Tag Colleagues in Notes on Profiles
To add a note to a Beamery profile, click on the Timeline tab and start typing your note within the activity box.
To tag another Beamery user in the note simply type '@' followed by their name. Then, click on the user's name from the dropdown menu. Finish typing your note, and once it is complete, click Log Activity. This will log the note and notify your colleague that they have been tagged, via email and an in-app notification.
Your colleague will receive an email notification like the below example, letting them know that they have been tagged in a note on a specific candidate's profile. They can click the link in the email to go directly to that candidate profile in Beamery.
In Beamery, your colleague will see an in-app notification as a number above the bell icon at the bottom left corner of the screen. Clicking on the bell icon will take your colleague to their notifications feed.

Notes are set to public view by default. To make the note private so that only yourself and the person you have tagged can see it, tick the box next to "Private Activity". This box is located beneath the note editing window.

You can also specify what type of activity your note is logging by clicking on the drop-down menu under "Activity Type". Once the appropriate activity has been selected and your note logged, it will appear in the candidate's timeline as shown below.
