How do Beamery Profile and Global Tags integrate with Greenhouse?

If a Global Tag or a Profile Tag is added to a profile in Beamery that is synced with a contact in Greenhouse, the Global or Profile Tag will be added to the Candidate Tags section of the Greenhouse contacts profile

If a Candidate Tag is added to a contact in Greenhouse that is synced with a profile in Beamery, the tag will be added/removed as a Profile Tag to the Beamery Profile.

Does the Source field in Beamery get updated by the Greenhouse Integration?

Yes, the Source field on a Beamery profile is updated based on the most recent application source for a contact in Greenhouse. These sources sync once an hour, so it will take up to 1 hour for you to see updated sources in Beamery. New sources synced from Greenhouse will be assigned on the next contact sync. This information only flows from Greenhouse to Beamery, and not vice versa. You can see all Greenhouse sources in Beamery Settings, under Sources.

Note: The Source for a Greenhouse Prospect does not sync to Beamery, the Source will only sync for applications in Greenhouse.

What Happens When Duplicate Profiles are Merged?

Merges in Beamery:
When duplicate profiles are merged in Beamery, if both profiles are synced with Greenhouse profiles, then those Greenhouse profiles will also be merged. The resulting Beamery Profile will be synced with the resulting Greenhouse Profile.

Merges in Greenhouse:
When duplicate profiles are merged in Greenhouse, if both profiles are synced with Beamery profiles, then those Beamery profiles will also be merged. The resulting Greenhouse Profile will be synced with the resulting Beamery Profile.

What Happens when a Contact is Anonymized in Beamery or Greenhouse?

When a contact is anonymized in either system, the synced contact in the other system will also be anonymized. So, if you anonymize a contact in Beamery (either manually or automatically with a Recipe), the synced Greenhouse contact will be anonymized in Greenhouse. This ensures that you remain compliant with relevant data regulations in both systems.

Please Note: You will need to ensure the Greenhouse Webhook for anonymization is enabled. If you require anonymization to only work one-way, please reach out to your Beamery CSM.

Are Attachments synced between Greenhouse and Beamery?

Profile attachments will only be synced from Greenhouse to Beamery, and not in the opposite direction. This means that if you add an attachment to a contact in Greenhouse, it will be added to the Beamery Profile automatically via the integration. Beamery supports the ingestion of attachment up to 5MB.

Why do the ‘Rejected’ and ‘Hired’ Greenhouse Stages not show in Beamery?

In Greenhouse Hired and Rejected are 'flags' and not stages. Beamery does not have flags, so flags cannot be mapped to Beamery. However, rejected candidates are easily identified using the rejection reason, which is a field on the application in Beamery.
