To be able to communicate with your contacts, they need email addresses. Sometimes, contacts are added to Beamery without an email address. To clean up your database and add email addresses so you can communicate with those contacts, follow these steps.
1. Navigate to the "People" tab by clicking on the icon in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Open the Filters menu by clicking on the blue "Show Filters" link on the upper left corner of the grid.
3. To filter for contacts that do not have an email address in their profile, you'll use just the Primary Email filter, which will scan this field on contact profiles.
In this case, we want to determine which contacts lack an email address. To set this up, choose 'Primary Email' from the filter list and then select 'is empty'.
Once you have identified the contacts that need email addresses, you can either edit them through the individual profiles or use the Enrichment function to automatically add email addresses where available.
