You can add candidates into a Dynamic campaign even after it has been launched. Candidates can be added to a campaign manually, either in bulk or individually, via the Beamery extension or via recipe automation.
Note: you cannot add candidates to a Single or Triggered campaign manually or through the extension. You will need to set up a recipe to add candidates to a Triggered campaign after launch, while for a Single campaign the audience must be chosen at the time of launch.

If you have a large number of candidates to add to a campaign, or would like to add all candidates who meet specific filter criteria, you should use a bulk action to add these contacts to the campaign.
- To add candidates from your CRM to an existing campaign, navigate to "People" within the CRM module where you can either manually select your candidates, or employ filters from the side panel to narrow your search for the most relevant candidates.
- If manually selecting candidates, click the checkbox next to each candidate name. If using filters, you can select the checkbox next to the "Full Name" column to automatically select the entire candidate list.
- A series of buttons will now appear at the top of your contacts grid. Click the Bulk Actions button and select Add to Campaign from the drop-down.
- In the Add to Campaign modal that appears, you can refine the list of campaigns by user (1) or search for the campaign by name (2). Select the campaign then click Add to Campaign (3).
Add Candidates to a Campaign from the Profile
You can add candidates to an existing Dynamic campaign from their profile, which is particularly useful for adding individual candidates to a campaign after reviewing the information on their profile.
- From the candidate's profile, navigate to the right side of the screen where you'll find the Campaigns card.
Here you will see all active campaigns with future touch points scheduled to be sent to the candidate. To see any previous campaigns they have received, click on "Show past campaigns". - Click on the + button, or if the candidate is not yet in any Campaigns, you may also click the + add to Campaign link
- In the Add to Campaign modal that appears, you can refine the list of campaigns by user (1) or search for the campaign by name (2). Select the campaign then click Add to Campaign (3).
Add Candidates to a Campaign from the Extension
You can add candidates to an existing Dynamic campaign when sourcing with the Beamery extension. Doing this allows you to communicate with your candidates using Beamery, without ever leaving their social media profile.
- To add a candidate to a campaign using the Extension, first, navigate to the social media profile and open the extension from the menu at the top of your browser.
- If the candidate does not yet exist in your CRM, follow this guide on how to add candidates to Beamery from their social media profile.
- Once a contact exists in your CRM, scroll to the bottom of the the extension to find Campaigns. Here you will see any Campaigns the contacts is currently active in as well as a place to add the contact to an existing Campaign. Please note that if the contact doesn't have an email address saved to their profile, they cannot be added to a Campaign.
- Click the pencil icon to see the full details of all Campaigns the contact has received or click the plus sign to add the contact to a new Campaign.
Add Candidates to a Campaign Using a Recipe
You can also add candidates to a campaign automatically by creating a Recipe. Please note that only users with the Super Admin role can create Recipes.
- To create a recipe, start by navigating to the Automation module.
- Then, click Add Recipe to begin creating a new Recipe.
- Next, give your Recipe a name, apply any relevant Global Tags to the Recipe and select whether or not the Recipe should be able to run more than once on a contact. Click Continue to move on.
- Next, You have the option of selecting from several actions to trigger the adding of candidates to a particular campaign.
For example, a trigger could be: when the contact is created, when they have submitted an application via forms, when their status is changed or when they have been added to a vacancy or pool.
Once you have selected your trigger, click Continue to move on. - Now, you can add additional filters to narrow the parameters as required, to ensure that only the candidates you would like to add to your Campaign are added by the Recipe. Click Continue to move on.
- Within the Actions section, select add to Campaign from the first drop down menu. Then, select which campaign you want the recipe to add candidates to.
- Click Continue to move on, and give your Recipe a final review.
- Once you've reviewed the recipe, click Activate.
