How to Utilize Job Architecture Skills within Beamery

Last Updated:

Once an organization's Job Architecture has been created, it is important to review the configuration of roles to insure that they are approved to be used within downstream workflows*. By flagging or approving the core role definitions, organizations are able to view which roles require attention, and then sign them off for use within Beamery.

Role Approval Status Definitions

  • Pending: Roles which not yet been reviewed.
  • Flagged: Roles for another user to review, or to come back to.
  • Approved: Roles ready to be used within downstream workflows.

Changing Approval States

  1. Within the Job Architecture Portal, navigate to a specific role via the Roles button in the left-hand navigation, or via the Health Panel on the homepage.
  2. Upon initial ingestion, roles will be in a ‘Pending’ state. Review the configuration of an individual role.
  3. Make any edits to the role by adding or removing skills.
  4. Once reviewed, adjust the approval state from ‘Pending’ to

Viewing Approved Job Architecture Roles within Vacancy Calibration

By connecting Job Architecture definitions to Vacancies, organizations can eliminate the need to configure the correct skills they are searching for. Beamery's Job Architecture allows organizations to have predefined skills configurations, meaning when vacancies are created, Beamery knows the skills a candidate will need to perform for the role at your organization. Hiring teams no longer have to start from scratch, and can be confident they are searching for skills relevant to the business and individual role, at that point in time.

  1. Navigate to the Vacancies List within the Beamery Platform
  2. Locate the search bar titled ‘Is this the job role you are looking for?’. If the correct Job Architecture Role Profile is not displayed, use the search bar to find the correct profile.
  3. The skills within the selected Job Architecture Role Profile will then populate the specific vacancy.
