How the Data Is Calculated

-
Public job postings scraped from thousands of sites
This includes employer websites, job boards, and career portals. Postings are deduplicated and refreshed regularly. -
Online professional profiles and resumes
Used to estimate candidate supply based on job titles, skills, and locations. -
Government labor statistics and surveys
To supplement market-level trends and enhance geographic accuracy.
Salary Data
- Only postings with numeric salary information are included.
- If a range is given, the midpoint is used in calculations.
- All salaries are standardized to annual figures.
- Salary data reflects what was posted by employers at the time and is not adjusted for inflation.
Supply & Demand Ratio
To help estimate market competitiveness, we divide:
Candidate Supply (estimated number of qualified professionals) by Hiring Demand (number of active job postings)
This gives a directional view of how tight or saturated the market is for a given role.
