Using Magic Links gives candidates the ability to log into your organization's Candidate Portal or Preference Center directly from a Campaign message sent from Beamery.  This gives your candidates a frictionless way to go into the Candidate Portal and get recommended jobs as well as update their candidate preferences.  

You can invite candidates to your organization's Candidate Portal or Preference center by using merge tags in your campaign building. Below are the ways to access each.

Candidate Portals

To invite candidates to your organization's Candidate Portal with a Beamery Campaign, choose "merge tags" after adding your desired text into a textbox.

From the dropdown menu that appears, choose Portal Magic Link. 

The Merge Tag will now be a part of your text box and will look like this:

When candidates receive your campaign emails with these links, they will be taken directly to your organization's Candidate Portal. 

Preference Center

To redirect a candidate to the Preference Center from a Campaign message, choose "Merge Tags" after adding your desired text into a textbox.

From the dropdown menu that appears, choose Portal Magic Link with redirect. This option allows you to customize the URL that the candidate will be directed to.

The merge tag will look like the following after it has been inserted into the campaign:

%portalMagicLink|text="click here"|redirectPath="/talent/home"%

You will need to remove /talent/home and replace it with the preference center you wish to add to the campaign.
In the example below, the redirect is /flows/preference-centre, therefore the full magic link will be %portalMagicLink|text="click here"|redirectPath="/flows/preference-centre"%

When candidates receive your campaign emails with these links, they will be taken directly to your organization's Preference Center.
