We’ve updated Beamery to help you stay compliant with LinkedIn’s requirements.

When a candidate deletes their LinkedIn account, LinkedIn provides this information through the LinkedIn CRM Connect Integration. We now check this data regularly and automatically tag candidates in your CRM that were exported from LinkedIn using One Click Export with a new profile tag: “closed-linkedin-profile”.

This tag indicates that the candidate has deleted their LinkedIn account for more than 21 days and LinkedIn has permanently closed their profile.

What you should do:

• Review candidates with the closed-linkedin-profile tag. You can filter candidates with the tag “closed-linkedin-profile” in the people’s grid.
• If you do not have a legal basis (e.g., consent, contract, legitimate interest) to keep their data, you may need to delete or anonymize their record in your CRM to comply with data protection regulations.

This update helps you stay aligned with LinkedIn’s data handling requirements and privacy best practices.
