Using the AI Assistant in the Beamery Extension

The AI Assistant in the Beamery Extension allows users to quickly create personalized outreach emails that engage potential candidates. This guide covers how to use the feature effectively, along with troubleshooting tips.

What the AI Assistant Does

The AI Assistant can help recruiters and sourcers save time on manual writing and improve candidate engagement with personalized content. This feature can automatically:

  • Analyze a candidate’s profile and your vacancy context.
  • Generate tailored outreach emails in seconds.
  • Allows users to refine tone, style, and content before sending.

How to Access the AI Assistant

  1. Open the Beamery Extension
    • Navigate to a contact profile on LinkedIn (or another supported site).
    • Click the Beamery Extension icon in your browser toolbar.
  2. Select the Contact
    • Locate the contact using the extension search or LinkedIn search.
  3. Click on the Contact's Email Address
    • In the Profile details & attachments section, click the contact's email address
    • The compose message panel with appear.
  4. Enable the AI Assistant
    • In the candidate record view, toggle on AI Assistant.
    • The AI Assistant panel will open.

Generating an Outreach Email

  1. Configure your AI assistant preferences
    • Choose number of words (minimum 100 characters)
    • Select either an open vacancy or use a generic title
    • Select the tone

  2. Click Generate Email
  3. The AI will:
    • Pull candidate details (name, role, experience).
    • Reference the relevant vacancy/job title.
    • Create a personalized, professional outreach message.
  4. Review the Draft
    • Adjust tone (e.g., professional, casual, friendly).
    • Edit any details for accuracy.
    • Add specific role or company information if needed.
  5. Copy or insert the email into your preferred outreach channel.

Editing and Improving the Email

Use the Regenerate button to generate an alternative version of the email. Try adjusting tone/style using the Edit preferences, or manually edit to add personal touches or role-specific points.
