LinkedIn CRM Connect: Onboarding and Sync

LinkedIn CRM Connect syncs your data between Beamery and LinkedIn to help you simplify your hiring workflow, save time building talent pipelines, and nurture candidate relationships with up-to-date candidate data from LinkedIn.

Prerequisites

LinkedIn - The user who initiates the data sync must have a recruiter license and admin access on LinkedIn

Beamery - Connect with your CSM to make sure you have the feature enabled in your environment

To begin the set up of CRM Connect, follow these simple Authorization and Synchronization steps.

Authorize the Integration

Navigate to Settings and choose LinkedIn CRM Connect under Data Management. Then click Choose Integrations.

Tick the box for CRM Connect and then Save changes.

 

Wait for the Systems to Sync

Beamery is now syncing all of your public contacts, public Vacancies, public Pools, public Notes and Email interactions to LinkedIn. The amount of time the initial sync from your Beamery database to LinkedIn takes will be entirely dependent on the size of your Beamery database.

  • Public Pools, including steps (does not include Event Pools)

    • Skills, for vacancies with WD skills cloud enabled

Now that the sync is completed, you'll be able to begin using the integration.

Link your Beamery and LinkedIn Accounts

For the integration to assign contacts and InMails to the right users, users will need to link their Beamery and LinkedIn accounts. Every user will have to do so in the settings page.

  1. Go into settings and click on the “Connect your LinkedIn Recruiter Account”
  2. Login into LinkedIn
  3. Confirm that your accounts are now linked by locating the green "Connected" label. If the toggle is not green, please raise a support ticket to resolve the issue.

Use CRM Connect in LinkedIn

You're ready to navigate over to LinkedIn and begin using CRM Connect.
