Talent Acquisition Extension

As we prepare to launch our LinkedIn CRM-Connect integration, we have some updates
to share regarding upcoming changes to the Beamery Extension.

What is happening?
Next year we will begin the rollout of our LinkedIn CRM-Connect integration.
This partnership will drive deep integration between Beamery and LinkedIn, helping our mutual clients improve quality of hire, ROI, and efficiency. Talent teams will be able to rely on the completeness and accuracy of information across the platforms under CRM-Connect.

That means no more toggling between platforms or sifting through disparate
information: just the ability to instantly identify top talent, and make informed decisions faster than ever before.

What is changing?
To prepare for our LinkedIn CRM-Connect integration, we’re making some changes to the Beamery Extension. These changes are to ensure greater control and privacy for LinkedIn’s member community, as outlined in LinkedIn’s User Agreement.

What's the impact?
From January 2, 2025, the Beamery Extension’s features of Autopilot (bulk- contact reporting), LinkedIn InMail logging, and auto-data population from profiles will no longer be accessible. However, users will still be able to:

- Search for, view, and edit existing profiles in the Beamery CRM.
- View profiles in the Beamery Extension, when the current LinkedIn public
profile URL matches the existing profile in the Beamery CRM.
- Create a profile using the Create button.

This temporary adjustment paves the way for the fully integrated LinkedIn CRM-Connect solution, scheduled for release in Spring 2025, which will empower Talent Acquisition teams to work more efficiently across both systems.

What happens next?
On January 2, 2025, you should get the updated Extension automatically. Depending on your browser settings, you might need to re-launch your browser, or to press “Update” in the Extension menu.

We will keep you informed on any important details of our LinkedIn CRM Connect functionality ahead of rolling it out to all clients in Spring 2025.

Talent Experience
Connected Calendar - Nylas

As part of our continued commitment to partner with the third-party providers that deliver the most value for our customers, we’re switching from Nylas to Cronofy as our Connected Calendar partner.

What this means for you:
The only minor change is that the Meeting Scheduler will look a little different, but it will work exactly as it does today. We’re letting you know so that you’re able to update your supplier information, due to this sub-processor change.

Connected Emails: We will no longer support connected emails.

What happens next?
We will be launching the new Cronofy Connected Calendar on 29th January. To ensure a smooth switch, you’ll need to re-authenticate your calendar with the new provider. We’ll share more details on how to do that nearer the time.

Reporting - Looker Insights

We are deprecating our Looker Insights and replacing it with the introduction of Enhanced In-App Reports.

Looker Insights allowed users to view data on which activities users were taking on Beamery, understand how many contacts are available on the platform, and follow up on campaign performance.

 

Our new in-app reports are designed to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience within Beamery. The new reports are available as of the November Release, and will initially cover the key metrics from the Looker Insights. They will be split into 3 reports: User Activity, Contact Insights, and Campaign Insights.

 

What's the impact?

- Enhanced Reporting Features: The new in-app reports will offer more value by connecting insights directly to other platform features, enabling you to take immediate action.
- Improved User Experience: Expect a more succinct and easy-to-use interface that simplifies your workflow with greater access to more users compared to the 1 license per company for the Looker Insight reports.

 

Over the next few months we will be working to continuously improve these reports to enable users to take action directly in Beamery based on the insights provided.

Team Leaderboard & TDM

We are announcing the deprecation of the Team Leaderboard and Time Delta Metric (TDM) features on our platform. This decision comes as part of our commitment to streamline our services and provide you with more effective tools to measure and understand your team's performance.

 

What's Changing?
- Team Leaderboard Removal: As of January 29th, the Team Leaderboard and TDM features will no longer be available.
- Enhancements to VAR Report: Our team is actively working on enhancing the Vacancy Attiribution Report (VAR) to deliver the same value and insights that you received from the Team Leaderboard an TDM. The improved VAR report will help you understand the effectiveness of your teams with greater clarity and depth.

 

What's the Impact?
- Transition to VAR Report: You will be able to use the VAR report to continue monitoring your team's performance without interruption. Users can also look forward to further enhancements to the VAR report inc the coming months.
- Opportunity for Feedback: We highly value your input and want to ensure the new VAR report meets all your needs. We invite you to review the new designs and provide feedback.
- Support Available: For any questions or assistance during this transition, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or contact us through our Product Request Page.
