Sourcing Settings is how recruiters and sourcers can automate repetitive tasks in their workflows. Managing your Sourcing Settings allows you to create preset values which will be automatically applied to the contacts you are sourcing.
Creating Profiles with the Beamery Extension
When you land on a social media profile of a person who you would like to create a profile for, the Extension will first let you know if the person already exists in your database. If they do not, you will see the Create contact screen.
The Beamery Extension includes a Sourcing Settings badge. The badge is always visible in the Sourcing Settings panel and indicates whether your settings are currently On or Off:

Depending on your companies IT settings Sourcing settings maybe cleared when you log out or when your current session ends. The badge is a quick reminder that your sourcing settings may need to be added before you start sourcing again.
To manage your Sourcing settings, click "Go to sourcing settings" or the pencil icon to begin editing the settings. Or, click Reset to remove them altogether.
Sourcing Settings
In Sourcing settings you’ll find easy access to log an activity, or automatically add a contact to Pools. Below, your organization may allow you to add a contact directly to a vacancy, where you can also set the correct vacancy stage. Then you’ll have a place to set the value for any of your organization's custom fields. You can also set a Global Status, assign a source for the contact, or add any Global or profile tags. Finally, at the bottom, you’ll find a setting to assign this contact to another user, or keep it defaulted to yourself. Once you’ve finished picking your settings, click Save sourcing settings to save your changes. The settings you choose will stay until you're ready to start on a new project. Then, click "Reset" at the top of the Sourcing Settings to reset your Sourcing Settings to the default fields.
